Brooklyn-based prog-punks SISTER HELEN are rocketing into 2017 with the release of their latest single, “The Blending of Blue and Green.” The track premiered via Impose Magazine who said, “Hard hitting instrumentals serve as the backdrop, as we are used to hearing from this phenomenal band.” The band’s self-titled farewell album drops January 13th, 2017 with one last show at Shea Stadium on January 9th. Stream the new song below and sstay tuned for a full stream soon!

The band further detailed:

“Lyrically, this song is about jealousy and about how easy it is to see somebody else as an impossible standard to measure up to. It’s about seeing the best in others and only the worst in yourself. Sometimes an unhealthy ego experiences love for someone else as hate for oneself–at least mine does!”
