MOUTHBREATHER unveils new metallic hardcore onslaught ‘Imaginary Skin’

1 min read

In an electrifying addition to their discography, MouthBreather has introduced their latest single, “Imaginary Skin“, a precursor to their much-anticipated fourth album, “SelfTape“, slated for release on November 10th under Good Fight Music.

This new release follows the tracks “You Try To Die” and “Ethical Hunting”, and solidifies the band’s innovative approach to the metallic hardcore. “Imaginary Skin” is a force to be reckoned with, boasting vigorous vocals, riveting guitar sequences, and an echoing breakdown that’s sure to captivate listeners.

Intriguingly, the lyrical inspiration for the song is drawn from the 2008 cinematic psychological horror, “Martyrs“, which ties in seamlessly with the album’s unique theme—each song being a nod to a different influential film.

The band has also excitedly announced their upcoming tour in December, which will see them sharing the stage with renowned acts such as Left To Suffer, Tallah, Chamber, and Tracheotomy.

“Self-Tape” promises a heavy, overpowering, and relentless musical experience. It’s an auditory journey through the psychological recesses influenced by iconic films that have left an indelible mark on the band members. Fans who have reveled in MouthBreather’s past albums like “I’m Sorry Mr. Salesman”, “Dollmeat”, and “Pig” will find a familiar resonance with this latest creation.
