After years of silence and almost 3 years after their interview for IDIOTEQ, alternative experimental indie duo from Opole, Poland and London, UK called NAKED ON MY OWN, is returning with a brand new single after years of silence. Producing epic garage rock, they create melodic and droning songs that draw from a wide range of influences, fluctuating between post-grunge roots and doomy heaviness, to subtle pop textures and enjoyable harmonies. For their new single “Melting Wax & Burning Feathers”, the band collaborated with Canadian musician and producer Jordon Zadorozny (Blinker The Star, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Ken Andrews). Jordon mixed the track and provided guest vocals, as well as additional instrumentation. The full-length album entitled ‘Elevated’ will be released on July 16th! Whether taken as a companion or as a lone wolf, ‘Melting Wax & Burning Feathers’ is an excellent effort which should be heard by any fan of experimental alt rock or indie alike.
