Never-released CREEPOID demo premieres ahead of reunion show!

Philadelphia alternative shoegazers Creepoid return to Union Transfer on February 15, 2025, nearly seven years since calling it quits at the same venue in early 2018. The lineup—singer/guitarist Sean Miller, singer/bassist Anna Troxell, and drummer Patrick Troxell—will include Andrew Clinco of Drab Majesty on second guitar. Full Body 2 and Halloween are set as support.

To mark the occasion, Creepoid are premiering a never-before-released demo that “offers a reimagining of George Washington as a seedy wood-toothed, wig-wearing recluse suffering an identity crisis while peddling questionable wares to passersby from down in the sewers.”

This new track is part of Gutter Jeweler, a collection of lost demos from 2016 available in cassette form and as a very limited lathe set.

Only 50 lathe sets will be produced, exclusively sold at the Union Transfer show as two separate lathes featuring four songs total.

A decade has also passed since the release of Creepoid’s third and final album, Cemetery Highrise Slum.

Originally put out on Collect Records just a few months before that label closed, it has been missing from most digital platforms for almost ten years.

Now back for streaming, the record is also receiving an LP reissue from Philadelphia’s Abandon Everything Records, available at the show or by mail order. Preorders are up at Bandcamp.

In the years following their 2018 farewell, two Creepoid members relocated to Austin and started the hardcore band Mugger.

This Union Transfer performance is their only announced date so far.
