1 min read

Hungary’s OAKEN are teaming up with Czech Republic’s post black metallers from MARNOST and Music For Liberation Records. for a split record in March. After some personal changes OAKEN from Hungary now offer dark and evil hardcore in the vein of HIS HERO IS GONE or AMENRA. An unmastered sample of their songs from this split is available below. MARNOST is a metal project of members of GATTACA and REMEK. On this record they have a remixed and longer version of their song “Die Hamletmaschine” that was recorded in relation to release of a short dance movie “Hamletophelia” that is accompanied by MARNOST’s songs. The record will be released in a big cooperation of labels from Europe and USA.

In other news, MARNOST are readying another double release, this time sharing their tunes with Slovenia’s heavy doom / sludge monster LEECHFEAST (featuring members of PAPERPLANECRASH and LANDVERRAAD). This time MARNOST will offers a more experimental 7-minute song inspired by S.K.Neumann. LEECHFEAST will also be touring Europe in late April and early May.
