Filled with 12 new melodic hardcore punk songs influenced by how fucked the world ca be and how to keep shred of hope, the new album fro OLD GHOSTS is limited to 300 copies on colored vinyl (split release from Assault Records (Europe) and State Of Mind Records (US) and on cassette (Ugly And Proud Records).
Comments the band:
“Pass You By” is about how short life is but how big of an impact (good or bad) we can have on the world. You can either effect change or pass the buck & point fingers. Also, I was writing the lyrics to this song around the anniversary of Dave Franklin (Vision) & decided to pay homage to him using the lyric “ in the blink of an eye”.
People often associate a crow with death, bad luck or dire situations. In Native American Culture a crow means a new life or change. I liked the duality of the meanings. life seems quite bleak wether it’s political climate, global pandemics & the overall depressing state of the world, but who knows maybe a real change for the better is coming.
