PESTILENCE to begin recording their next album in February

PESTILENCE have announced that they will be back in the studio in February of next year to begin recording their seventh album, which will be called “Obsideo”.


About the record, guitarist/vocalist Patrick Mameli states:

We are working our asses of to finish composing the last two songs for “Obsideo”. Dave is making vids for the songs and we are looking at recording drums in February. We also will do some old-school shows with songs just from the first three albums!!!! Including songs like “Twisted Truth” and “Commandments”!!!!!

Other songtitles set to appear on the new PESTILENCE album include “Necromorph“, “Saturation“, “Soulrot“, “Laniatus” and “Superconcious“. According to Mameli, the CD’s overall lyrical theme will be “the journey of the human soul.”
