Philly’s pissed off hardcore pack FIXATION premiere new jam “Record of Sin”

1 min read

Soon after the premiere of their late 2017 debut EP “Here To Watch You Break” and early 2018 promo EP, Philly’s hardcore band FIXATION are back with a raging new EP called “Marked”, slated for an August 10th release via War Records. Today, we’re giving you a new jam called “Record of Sin”, a proper injection of power continuing a raging pace of acts like Rival Mob, Nerve Agents, Arms Race, Youth of Today, and Infest. Listen below and head over here to check out another new song called ‘Play Along’.

Fixation are set to release “Marked,” their debut EP, on WAR Records August 10, 2018. Recorded and mixed by Wyatt Oberholtzer (Year of The Knife, The New Harmony), “Marked” features 8 tracks of no holds barred punk influenced hardcore that clocks in at just over 8 minutes with layout and design by Linas Garsys who has handled the art for such bands as American Nightmare, Ceremony, World Be Free, and more. Pre-order at War Records, iTunes, Apple.com and Bandcamp.

With an emphasis on lyrical potency and fast, aggressive songwriting, Fixation have pulled no punches since their formation in late 2017. Comprised of current and former members of Drowse, The Dividing Line, New Heart and Time’s Up, the Philadelphia hardcore outfit deliver combative, pointed hardcore for fans of Rival Mob, Nerve Agents, Arms Race, Youth of Today, No Tolerance, and Infest.

FIXATION

After releasing a demo in late 2017 as well as a 4 song promo earlier this year, Fixation hit the road touring the East Coast and Midwest sharing the stage with bands like Leeway, Miracle Drug, Chokehold and more.

After completing an East Coast run with Rule Them All and Vantage Point, FIXATION are set to embark on a West Coast tour late in late August. Expect to catch them in your town as they plan to tour throughout 2018.
