Pittsburgh pop punk outfit MIDNIGHT LIGHTS premiere new single “Wake Up”

1 min read

On November 11th, Pittsburgh based pop punk band MIDNIGHT LIGHTS will be releasing their new single, Wake Up, and today we’re pleased to give you an early stream of the party banger below! The song was produced (recorded, mixed, and mastered) by Matt Very (Code Orange, Short Fictions).

Formed by longtime friends Ryan Sharp, Alex Brewer, and Tommy Lyttle, MIDNIGHT LIGHTS rounded out the four piece with bassist Amy Manofsky in June 2022.

“As Western PA’s premier pop-punk band, we rock out to the very best of 2000s and today’s pop-punk tunes as well as our own unique originals that combine the familiar sounds of pop-punk’s glory days with an edgy, modern twist.” – comments the band.

Adds Ryan Sharp: “We’re four friends that love to play music and have a good time. We want to make our own mark on the pop-punk style that has been the soundtrack to so many of our good times and bring that sound from the garage to the bar, to the studio, and to your ears.”

Wake up was mixed and mastered by Billy Mannino (Oso Oso, Bigger Better Sun) and is the first of two singles to drop before the year ends.

In other news, MIDNIGHT LIGHTS will be opening for the Secrets 10 Year Anniversary Tour, featuring Archetypes Collide and Dead American! Catch them live at Preserving Underground venue in Downtown New Kensington on Wednesday, November 30th. RSVP here.
