ABLE BAKER FOX, a post-hardcore supergroup that merges two 90s post-hardcore heavy hitters- Mike Reed, Ben Reed, and Jeff Gensterblum of Michigan’s SMALL BROWN BIKE and Nathan Ellis of Kansas City’s THE CASKET LOTTERY, has released a new single called “Purple Mountains”. Nearing their tenth year, the band is about to release their new album Visions this summer on No Sleep Records (USA) and Arctic Rodeo (Europe).

Nathan Ellis, had this to say about the new song

“America signed the Declaration of Independence 241 years ago and a new independent nation was born. In the definition of the American Dream by James Truslow Adams in 1931, “life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement” regardless of social class or circumstances of birth. Anyway, here’s a song called  “Purple Mountains” from the forthcoming Able Baker Fox record, “Visions” out 8/25/17″

Catch the band live at the following stops this August, September and October:

8/25 @ Macs in Lansing, MI
8/26 @ The Metro in Chicago, IL
9/2-9/3 @ Crucialfest in SLC, UT
10/25-10/26 @ Pre-Fest in YBOR City, FL
10/27-10/29 @ Fest! In Gainesville, FL
