THE DRIPPERS have shared a cover of “Hammerless Nail” by New Bomb Turks via The Sign Records. The single is the fourth and final in a series of stand-alone singles from the Swedish garage rock outfit, and follows The Drippers’ praised debut album “Action Rock” from 2019.
Viktor Skatt comments on the single: “The new single from The Drippers is a cover of “Hammerless Nail” by the mighty New Bomb Turks, a monumental band that influenced the whole High Energy Rock N Roll movement of the 90’s and is one of the reasons why we started the band in the first place.”
The Drippers‘ cover of “Hammerless Nail” was originally included on the LP “No Heroes, No Leaders, No Artists, No Gods: A Tribute to The New Bomb Turks”, released in 2021. The single is now released on streaming platforms for the first time.

The Drippers quickly gained a reputation of being an explosive live band in a classic genre thatโs coming back to life. During both 2017 and 2018, the bandโs been hand picked to play prominent after parties to The Hellacoptersโ gigs at Liseberg (Gรถteborg) and Grรถna Lund (Stockholm). The bandโs become a popular live act, sharing the stage with bands like Turbonegro, Supersuckers, The Dwarves, The Baboon Show, Robert Pehrssonโs Humbucker, Scumbag Millionaire, Deadheads, Hard Action, Mรคrvel and Night.
The Drippersโ debut album โAction Rockโ was released in August 2019. The album was recorded in Sunlight Studio and produced by legendary Tomas Skogsberg, who during the 90โs took The Hellacopters, Gluecifer, Backyard Babies, New Bomb Turks, Entombed etc. under his wings. โAction Rockโ quickly became a gem for all lovers of hard-hitting, electrifying garage rock, and includes one of the bandโs most notorious tracks โGimme the Shakesโ
The debut album follows the bandโs EP โMotherfuckers Be Drippinโโ, released in 2018. The EP was mixed by Tomas Skogsberg in Sunlight Studio and distributed through Sound Pollution. The track Solitary Speaking was included in the โA Fistful More Of Rock And Rollโ compilation released by Sal Canzonieri of Electric Frankenstein. A track that also was relased as a music video.
Something that separates The Drippers from most other bands is the intense use of double lead vocals to give the sound an extra dimension.
