Raddled, dirty hardcore act FEEDING premiere debut EP

1 min read

The cold plains and stark industrial atmosphere of Edmonton has spawned its latest harbinger of total destruction. FEEDING has created a sound that straddles the line between pure hardcore riffs that will have you pitting like the undead, and the sound of pits literally opening up into the depths of hell itself. The self-titled EP is the first offering to be made by the fresh band, although the members are veterans of the underground Edmonton hardcore scene, and have been playing in bands for years. Watch the band’s new  video for “Rotten Alive” and dive into the full record below!

Formed in 2016, FEEDING was created in the wake of local Edmonton hardcore outfits COLD LUNGS and LOW LEVEL disbanding. With members from each band still seeking auditory destruction, a five-song EP was rendered. It will be presented as an offering on spools of magnetic tape in January 2017, through Funeral Trance Records. The debut was recorded in FEEDING’s sanctum: Piss Alley by Derek Orthner (Begrime Exemious) and mastered by Brad Boatright of AudioSiege. The cassettes will bear Jason Barnett’s conception of crawling toward death. FEEDING plans on touring as far as possible to spread their brand of occult death rock, and already have plans for future releases
