Rap Hardcore pack BAYWAY NJ drops “Hurt Feelings”

1 min read
Start

BAYWAY NJ‘s latest single, Hurt Feelings, a heavy fusion of rap and hardcore that doesn’t waste a second on subtlety.

This track cuts through with raw aggression and unfiltered lyrics, digging deep into the kind of grit that defined 90s rap while carrying the brutal edge of today’s hardcore.

The song comees from the band’s new EP “Bayway Takes Manhattan”, to be released on November 15, 2024 via Daze label.

Vocalist Jayway shares: “The track deals with people who are selling a story that is not their own and is unauthentic. They will try to keep real people out so that no one finds out they are a fraud. Instead of relating to the struggle they view it as a threat.”

Coupled with their last single, Currency, BAYWAY NJ is continuing their no-nonsense quest for real, straight from the streets of NJ, and rough rap infused hardcore.

Bayway Takes Manhattan marks Bayway’s fourth overall release and second this year following May’s Word Is Bond EP. The four tracks on the upcoming release address everything from addiction to privilege and celebrating friendship made through the hardcore scene. Hold My Own’s Greg Falchetto lends his vocals on closer “Our Way,” which is bound to be a live set favorite. Like all of Bayway’s material, the EP was self-recorded and produced by Jayway allowing the band to fully steer their sound.
