About the demos,ย frontman Sergie Loobkoff states:
I [discovered some] demos and stuff for [two] Samiam records. I guess that isnโt stupendously interesting, but within them were six songs I only the vaguest memory of writing, rehearsing or recording. lost songs from the decade before last, I emailed them to the other guys (of that era) and they didnโt remember either. Iโm sure itโs 17 years agoโฆbut youโd think we would go, โoh yeah that shitty songโฆ.โ They arenโt that great quality, but one of theย Clumsyย songs (called โIssuesโ) was an actual studio song from that session, unmixed and discardedโฆsimilar to the song, โI want moreโ that went on ourย Orphan Worksย compilation record. Then there is a โYAFMOโ rehearsal room recording (called โlie to meโ) that is better than most of the songs that went on that record. stuff like this isnโt going to win fansโฆbut I think samiam peoples would love to hearโฆ.itโs a wierd thing to uncover.
