August 14, 2017
1 min read

Introduced through an extensive interview back in November 2016, Spisska Nova Ves, Slovakia’s blackened crust metallers NIČITEL’ are back with a new track “V chorých rukách” (In sick hands), coming from their new split 10″ with raw hardcore punk band ZOZOO. Feature 2 new tracks and one ZOZOO’s cover, the record focuses on the issue of health care failures and some of the dark side of the  pharmaceutical industry. “V chorých rukách” addresses the about the death spiral of the health system and can be heard below. It comes with a music video that mixes the landscapes of Iceland, old x-ray and operation videos and animation done by the very talented young artist and a good friend of the band, Ernest Bevilaqua, who already animated the band’s video “Chata” (scroll further down to check it out).

NICITEL

Lyrics:

V chorých rukách

Nemocničné lôžko
a v nej nepozvaný hosť.
Na čom ti záleží,
k čomu sa priznávaš,
keď opitý v rukách
ľudský život máš.
Zdravie naše v chorých rukách.
Čo je pre vás prvoradé,
keď život končí v bolesti a v mukách.
In sick hands

Hospital bed
and in her an uninvited guest.

What do you care for,
what are you confessing to,
when drunk in your hands
a human life you have.

Our health in sick hands.
What is essential for you,
when life ends in pain and torment.
