SINAI VESSEL Joins Tiny Engines; Recording Debut LP with Chris Crisci (THE APPLESEED CAST)

1 min read

SINAI VESSEL will head into the studio in May to record their debut full-length with Chris Crisci of THE APPLESEED CAST. The album will follow up the band’s last release, the Profanity EP, recently released on 12″ vinyl from Flannel Gurl in the Fall of 2014. The album is also available for name-your-price download on Bandcamp.

Sinai Vessel describes themselves as “sissy punk” and while that might be rather tongue-in-cheek, it’s accurate in the sense that Sinai Vessel are an earnest punk band wearing their hearts firmly on their sleeves. Writing songs about disillusionment, understanding, confusion, leaving home, and growing up, Sinai Vessel practices a brand of emotional vulnerability and self-reflection that comes across as truly meaningful and worthwhile. It is a difficult tightrope the band manages to walk but they do it with such skill and expertise. Much like life itself, the true power of Sinai Vessel’s craft is the subtle nature in which they move.
