SLAYER, EXODUS and AMEN members form a new project

1 min read

AOL’s Noisecreep is reporting that EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt, SLAYER drummer Dave LombardoAMEN vocalist Casey Chaos and former KYUSS and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE bassist Nick Oliveri have started an as-yet-unnamed project.

The band has been recording music for a documentary about House of Shock, the infamous New Orleans haunted house attraction founded in 1992 by former PANTERA singer Philip Anselmo. Helming the sessions is producer Ross Robinson (SLIPKNOTKORNDEFTONES), who was approached to provide music for the film by director Dean Karr and producer Sean E. Demott.

Gary Holt on the project:

Whenever Dave and I would get on deck for soundcheck, we’d go up there first and jam make up stuff everyday. It just comes easy for us. We’re both into being spontaneous and improvising. We probably have an album’s worth of material.
