Brazil’s doomgaze/post-rock/post-metal band ISAURIAN (see our previous special feature here) is set to release their new full-length album, The Pulsing Rush, digitally on October 25th. The newly released track, “Carved Earth,” is now available for streaming and download on major platforms.
“Carved Earth” showcases the band’s broad sonic scope, blending doom-inflected riffs with quieter moments, offering listeners space to absorb the sound fully. Vocalist Jorge Rabelo’s performance ranges from ethereal in the verses to a more intense climax, evoking the raw energy of GOJIRA’s Joe Duplantier.
The Pulsing Rush continues ISAURIAN’s exploration of the emotional and sonic extremes, featuring tracks like the melancholic “Godlike” and “Carved Earth,” the rhythm-driven “Primal Life,” and the uplifting post-rock influence of “Murmurations.” The album captures themes of love, loss, and desire, delivering 40 minutes of doom, shoegaze, and post-rock.
Formed in 2017 in Distrito Federal, Brazil, ISAURIAN brings over 20 years of experience to their heavy and atmospheric music. The band has previously worked with producers like Rhys Fülber, Matt Bayles, Kevin Ratterman, and Chris Common, earning critical acclaim for albums such as Chains of Blue (2020) and Deep Sleep Metaphysics (2022).
Following a challenging production period marked by personal losses, ISAURIAN is set to release their most refined work yet, while staying true to their core sound.
