SNUFF release acoustic version of “One Of Those Days”, announce acoustic album

1 min read

Harrow’s renowned punk band Snuff is set to release a new album on June 9th, showcasing their first-ever acoustic sound. Titled “Come On If You Think You’re Rachmaininov,” the album will be available digitally as well as in vinyl and CD formats. The single “One Of Those Days” from the album will be released across all streaming platforms today!

In July 2022, Snuff entered the studio for the first time since the lockdown. Although the album was expected to take two weeks to record, the band completed it in just over a week, thanks to their focus and pent-up frustration. With the extra studio time, the band experimented with an acoustic sound, inspired in part by the Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, and Max Roach collaboration “Monkey Jungle” and a viewing of a street fight in South London.

The album, which features reworked selections from Snuff’s discography, will have its “world premiere” performance at London’s The Lexington on June 11th, where the band will play acoustically.

SNUFF

Snuff, a punk band for the Millenium, has been creating music independently since 1986. Their unique sound, rooted in melodic punk, incorporates elements of various musical styles, including guitar riffs, organs, horns, and harmonies. The band is revered in certain circles but remains misunderstood in polite society. Their acoustic album, “Come On If You Think You’re Rachmaininov,” is set to release in May 2023 in vinyl, CD, and digital formats.
