While their last single “Black Rain” — which was actually an outtake from the “Badmotorfinger” sessions — came out in 2010, it’s been more than 15 years since SOUNDGARDEN released any new material.
The reunited grunge legends just released a 22-second snippet of their brand new song “Live to Rise”, which is set to appear on the soundtrack to “The Avengers” movie. The soundtrack drops on May 1st. The band hasn’t confirmed whether or not “Live to Rise” is going to appear on their new record, but stay tuned for details.
