Universal Music has set a May 21st release date for the SOUNDGARDEN classic album box set called “The Classic Album Selection”, containing all of their studio albums (except for their 1988 debut “Ultramega OK”, which was released on SST) and their live recording “Live on I-5″, which surfaced last year.
The box set includes the following:
* Louder Than Love (1989)
* Badmotorfinger (1991)
* Superunknown (1994)
* Down on the Upside (1996)
* Live on I-5 (2011)
All of those albums will be presented as a set of mini-LPs in gatefold wallets with booklets and exclusive new artwork designed by widely acclaimed designer and long-term SOUNDGARDEN collaborator Josh Graham.
