SPORT releases “a musical journey to the Fest”!

1 min read

In October 2014, the French emo punks from SPORT went to the States for a two week tour. They have just posted a nice summary of their Fest adventure, featuring a few other bands like 1994, XERXES, SELF DEFENSE FAMILY, TINY MOVING PARTS, MAI HARVEST, BEACH SLANG, and more! See the official word and watch all three parts + their Elephant Session videos below!

I filmed any kind of random bands and people along the trip. This video is not supposed to be a tour report or any kind of documentary about our band.

I just wanted to show the atmosphere of the tour, for a foreign band which knows a lot about this great country and scene, and who experiences it for real. Or simply make a memory video or ourselves.
Possibly, it can also paint a picture of this cultural community, at this one place, at this one time, through everything we witnessed during those two weeks. It also shows our changing interactions with exhaustion and alcohol.
The live footages shown were the most suitable for the video (we met tons of awesome people that we couldn’t add to this montage, which is already very long).

We want to send our huge gratitude and hugs to all the friends, promoters, helpers, bands, labels we met.
The sound is not very good, it’s just the one from my camera, and the montage is the best I could do with my limited technical skills.

Also I’m not going to translate the french parts, because it’s mostly bad jokes, and there is nothing worse than a bad translated joke).
If you ask, at 26:52, this is the translation of the situation :
Are you crying ?
Who are you thinking of ?
Your mom.

Hope you’ll enjoy it.
