DISAVOW, vegan, straight edge hardcore band from Gothenburg, Sweden, released their debut demo last year, and it was obvious they were striving to be more vulnerable in their songwriting and open for a lot mor endeavours. It’s our pleasure to reveal they are about to release a new  7” called “Half Empty” via Epidemic Records, a six tracks mixture of pure hardcore fury with no compromise. Harsh, angry and dark, but still as sharp as a razor blade. Recorded and mixed by David Zackrisson and mastered by Daniel Husayn at North London Bomb Factory, the record features the amazing artwork by Isabell Kirstinä and features guest vocals by Derek Archambault of DEFEATER and Fredrik Larzon of MILLENCOLIN. We’re pleased to give you the first proper sneak peak of the record, DISAVOW’s new track and video “Half Empty”, available below.

DISAVOW features ex members of ANCHORGUSTMURDEROFCROWSOAK and PAINTED WOLVES. The band’s new 7” record is pressed in only 300 copies: 200 clear and 100 clear with white swirl. Vinyl preorders are available todayThe digital release is going to be available via Epidemic Records on Amazon, Deezer, Google Play, Itunes/Apple Music and Spotify; also, on the band’s Bandcamp page.

DISAVOW is going to leave on tour to promote the record, with shows with WASTESPIRIT CRUSHER andPRIMITIVE LIFE. See more details below

The band’s singer Anton commented:

“The video for half empty are made from videos we filmed and gathered through our first year together. Isabella Kirstinä, the mastermind behind our artwork, put it together in a amazing way!”

Tired eyes fixed on a glass half empty.
Bitter and lonesome.
That’s what I’ve become.

It doesn’t make me happy.
It doesn’t make me sane
This high has me sinking further down.

I tried to shut out the discomfort, I tried to fit in.
With all the ideas, that never felt like me.
Still I make excuses for why!

I won’t participate!
That’s my resistance!
