Introduced through an IDIOTEQ interview in 2013, Tel Aviv’s mellow dreampop band THE APRONS are back with a new single called “Day Off”, teasing the band’s new album, to be released in June this year. Check out the official word and watch the delightfully bizarre and refreshing video below.
The Aprons is a female dream pop duo, consists of Hava (drums, vocals, piano) and Talia (Bass, vocals, piano, harp), urban nymphs that produce magical miniatures and haunting tunes. The two met while escaping the great avalanche of 1805. Leaving their families of Siberian wolves behind, they embarked on their musical journey.
The Aprons debut album “Sound Stains”, was released in 2012 to critical acclaim and was followed by performances at major festivals in Israel an NY.
Their previous music video reached 20,000 views within a week and was selected to participate in the biggest animation festival in Seoul.
Now days they are releasing the first single from their second album “Any human heart”.
The full album will be out on June 2016.
In the new album, the girls push their musical boundaries without losing their unique character, incorporating electronic and guitar elements into the balance of sweetness and darkness, sugar and spice.

Let’s take the day off
and go to the park
where we’ll dance
You will show me how to dance
Sing me a song
And then I’ll sing along
And we’ll lough
You will show me how to lough
I’ll be the last girl ever
Walk on my toes
Not disturbing the noise
As seen on TV
Once size fits all
Do as she’s told
Never grows old
