Toronto metalcore act SINGLE WOUND tackles suicide and mental health with new heavy single “End Of Days”

1 min read

Dedicated to a good friend of the band, Jordan De Belen, who lost their battle with mental health and took their own life last year, “End Of Days” by Toronto based SINGLE WOUND is a high-energy slap in the face, with a proper message behind it. The band’s goal with this new release is to help raise awareness for mental health, especially for young men who are afraid to reach out for help, and today it’s our pleasure to give you their newest single “End Of Days”!

“The lyrics of this song reflect that and the hardships that come with losing someone to suicide and also what the individual may have been experiencing at the end of their days.” – comments the band.

“We wrote this song in Jordan’s memory and also for anyone out there who is struggling with mental health and thinking of giving up. We hope that this song can provide some sort of support and to help those struggling realize that their life holds value and they are loved.”

“Jordan was always at every one of our shows. He was in the front and screamed back every word at us. We would spend hours after shows getting food talking about music and just life in general and his presence just always brought everyone’s spirits up”

“This song is for Jordan and everytime we play it whether we’re at rehearsal or playing a show he’s there with us every time”
