Formed back in 2013 in Cavarzere, Venice, CONFINE is a wild mixture of powerful hardcore with Italian lyrics, thrash, grind, blasphemy and brief tracks under the sing of liberation and disengagement. 3 years after their debut full length C.I.O.D.E., released via I Want To Believe Tapes, Rip Roaring Shit Storm Records e Mustard Mustache and 2 years since the follow-up Incertezza Continua, released via Youth of Today Records, the band returns with a new offering, their third proper release called “RRR”, teased with a great new music video by Daniele Bagolin and Chiara Mei Mus (watch below). Today, we have teamed up with the band to give you its first full listen, along with the band’s quick commentary below!
The ten tracks contained in RRR represent the natural development of a feeling of “continuous uncertainty” that has begun years ago and never left us. New figures appear from the darkest corners of small and unlit streets. They speak through spaces between the walls of a toilet in a pub, whisper between the mattress and the pillow during full moon nights. They all bear the same name, wear a thousand clothes and a thousand faces, hands, eyes that gaze at us, gaze at themselves. RRR tells about gazes, shipwrecks, falls, loops that keep happening in doubt.
RRR was recorded, mixed and mastered in March 2019 by Riccardo “Paso” Pasini at Studio 73 (Ravenna). The album is due to be self-released on October 24, 2019 (digital) and October 31, 2019 (CD).
