After being arrested for drug trafficking earlier this year and then being sentenced to 18 months in prison, Walter Delgado is facing a potential deportation after doing his time. Walter has pled guilty to third-degree felony possession charges and is currently serving his sentence. In order to change jude’s mind, Walter’s friends have started a social media fueled action to gather as many testimonials of his good actions as possible. See more details below.
The following information has been released via the band’s Facebook page:
“As many of you know, Walter is in prison. I do not care what your feelings /opinions are about the situation, as it doesn’t change what has happened or that he is locked up. However, I am asking a huge favor from anyone who knows Walter and/or is a fan ofRotting Out.
If Walter, whether personally or through his music, has EVER affected you/impacted you in a positive light, whether it was his lyrics that saved you from committing suicide or kept you from becoming involved with a gang or kept you off the streets or inspired you to do something more–anything– PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE submit your story as soon as possible to [email protected].
This is a time sensitive matter, so don’t put it off. Include as much information as you can. If you have any questions, feel free to submit them to the aforementioned e-mail address.

BANE singer Aaron Bedard wrote a testimonial, which was recently shared by LA veteran hardcore band TERROR:
“This is my friend Wally Edge Delgado. He is more than just a member or some bands I really loved, more than just a kid who wrote lyrics for, and sang on a song that my own band wrote. He is someone I look up to and have turned to when times get dark.
As many of you already know, earlier this year Wally fucked up in a really big way and has been sent to prison for 18 months to pay for that mistake. I have zero interest in discussing my, or any of your opinions regarding that in a forum as pointless as this one.
What I am interested in, is that after Walter has served his 18 months he very possibly will be facing deportation from the United States. A movement has been started that is gathering as many voices as possible to speak out on his behalf. To email the immigration judge and share testimonials insisting that Wally is so much more than the crime he has committed.
