xWEAPONx sharpen their arsenal with ‘Weapon X Demo 2’ — straight edge warpath continues via DAZE

“Weapon X hates you.” The first line says it all. Katana-sharp and cold-blooded, Weapon X Demo 2 isn’t just a follow-up — it’s a full-scale offensive. XweaponX (members of Knocked Loose, Gates To Hell, Inclination) return via DAZE with five tracks of straight edge metalcore warfare that burn with discipline, rage, and purpose.

Recorded by Isaac Hale, mixed and mastered by Zach Tuch, the new demo builds on the band’s 2022 debut and their Weapon of Pleasure split with World Of Pleasure. But there’s no side project energy here. This is focused, punishing, and deliberate — a violent push forward.

The vocal trio of Dave Baugher, Issac Hale, and Bryan Garris fire off in unison, spitting venom with synchronized fury. “On My Own” sees a guest spot from Human Garbage and clocks in under a minute — all impact, no filler. “Everybody Breaks” anchors the record with its primal breakdown and raw, self-destruction-defying message.

Karl Buechner of Earth Crisis jumps in on “B.N.E.,” linking generations of militant hardcore in a crushing, conviction-laced assault.

It ends with “Weapon X Outro,” a final statement screamed without apology: “Weapon X. Straight Edge. Fuck You.”

The band next takes the stage at LDB Fest in Louisville on April 25, then heads to Sound and Fury in Los Angeles this July.
