The Netherlands are back in action. The newest addition to the scene, melodic hardcore band I’LL GET BY consists of five young musicians from the city of Utrecht, who’ve met through playing together with their previous bands: Dock 83, Shallow, Immersed and Athena’s Word. Not the worst ground to start from. Forming I’ll Get By together, they started writing late 2018 and are now ready to drop their first ever single; ‘Your Arrow’, available for streaming below!
The brand new track is taken from I’ll Get By’s debut EP, which will be out later this year through Smithsfoodgroup DIY. ‘Your Arrow’ is recorded by Daan Nieboer at Cornerstone Audio. You may know Daan himself from his role in the sadly departed Dutch hardcore band 18 Miles, or the other work he’s done in terms of recording, mixing and mastering the low lands’ talent.
The track grapples with the aftermath of drifting apart from a loved one. Heavy music on heavy topics: we’re all here for it.
