Zaragoza melodic, emotive post hardcore act HUÉRFANXS premiere debut record

1 min read

7 months since the initial DIY release, the debut captivating record from Spanish emotive post hardcore band HUÉRFANXS is finally getting a proper release. The band has teamed up with Serbian cassette label Confusion Specialist Records to deliver just a couple of limited edition tapes and Vancouver’s Emocat Records, who will announce the details of their pressing soon.

Huerfanxs is a fine debut record that embraces every fibre of the 90s / early 00s emo punk, very generous in its heartfelt approach and beautiful, yet extremely dynamic moments. It gives us a sharp and unforgettable insight into what these guys are capable of and we literally can’t wait to hear more.

CSR#101 – This sweet debut by a melodic post-hardcore from Zaragoza, Spain, Huerfanxs comes onto its way to the light with much of a nod to early 00’s pop punk/post-hardcore bands such as Boy Sets Fire, Thursday and a bit of instrumental post-metal gem (Orfanato). This is a real good early 00’s nostalgia piece that anyone can get into. Don’t miss it
