7 SECONDS frontman Kevin Seconds has posted an update regarding the status of his upcoming debut solo album.

7 SECONDS

He writes:

I’ve spent some quality time at my friend David Houston’s recording studio (Moon Recording) this past couple of weeks, recording vocal and guitar parts for songs to go on my next album. We’ve actually been working on it for awhile, starting sometime late last year when I went in and recorded a handful of songs with David playing bass (as well as some slide guitar and keyboards) and Kepi Ghoulie on drums). It’s rare when i get in collaboration-mode but this time around it just makes more sense and i’m having a great time in the studio. last week, my friend Alison Wonderland laid down some beautiful cello bits and I’m going to get her to play on more tunes this upcoming week. After that, i just finish up on my parts and get Al to come in and transcend the entire bit by singing her amazing harmonies and adding whatever else she might add. If all goes well, this new record will see a late summer/early fall release. i really can’t wait for you guys to hear this stuff. i’m VERY happy and thrilled with the way it is all turning out.
