COFFINFISH

20 minute post metal sludge hammer by COFFINFISH streaming now!

April 20, 2016
1 min read

Combining heavy, crushing, and monolythic riffs with varied vocals and eclectic synths, COFFINFISH keep investigating the supernatural and dark. “Epilogue” is the aptly-named final iteration of their recent trilogy focusing on apocalyptic and lovecraftian themes. It also shows a well thought-out vision, an allegory of evolution, and the inevitable demise of mankind. Their first effort “Staring at the Abyss” begins deep down within the oceans and the thalassophobia-inducing areas of Earth, while the second, “I Am Providence” takes us to the surface – to the frozen and vast expanses of the antarctic. With Epilogue it all comes to an end as we watch from above. The EP consists of a single track, clocking at over 20 minutes. Featuring two vocalists (guest vocals by Tytus from FLESHWORLD), COFFINFISH is heavier and more aggressive than ever before.

Pre-order the record via Unquiet Records here or here!

The band will be doing their record release show on April 28th at Warsztat venue in Kraków with HEGEMONE, and Budapest KYLIGA DALEN and RED AND THE DUMBASSES.
