THE ACACIA STRAIN have dropped their new single “UNTENDED GRAVES.” Listen to the song and watch the visualizer above.
It’s just over two minutes of metallic maelstrom — including a tectonic plate-shifting breakdown and the blood-chilling declaration “I don’t want to die!”
“‘UNTENDED GRAVES‘ is a good example of our current collective writing, with some added perspective that was injected into the band recently, as well,” says the band. “It will be a fun one to play live next spring. However, as usual with us, it’s no indication of what’s to come.”
“UNTENDED GRAVES” is the first taste of new music from the New England-based band since 2020’s Slow Decay, which debuted on many charts, including #1 Rock, #1 Hard Music, #1 Independent, #5 Current, #5 Vinyl, #7 Digital, and #87 Billboard Top 200, and was included in Revolver’s Best of 2020 list. Accolades also followed from Brooklyn Vegan, Loudwire, Metal Injection, Blabbermouth, Endgadget, and more. The album has generated nearly 25 million streams to date, making it a definitive moment in The Acacia Strain’s career.
The Acacia Strain will hit the road with Fit For an Autopsy, Full of Hell, and Primitive Man next year. The tour kicks off on March 8 in Brooklyn and runs through April 1 in Worcester, MA. All dates are below.
