Orange County punk and hardcore mainstays, IGNITE, have returned to the studio to work on their highly-anticipated new album, reuniting with acclaimed producer Cameron Webb at Maple Studios. The band teased fans with a drum rehearsal video on Instagram, captioned “New music coming! Ready for a fast one?”
The group, which has been together for over 25 years, has transitioned through multiple phases but has always remained true to their roots. Their most recent project aims to push the envelope further, as they re-enter the recording studio amid a backdrop of unprecedented global and cultural challenges.

“One of the great things when working with Cameron is that he likes to push us in and out of our comfort zones,” the band revealed in a statement. “Changing parts, structures, and ideas on the fly can be challenging and frustrating at times, but the process of creating and re-creating in the recording space allows for some magical moments.”
This new album comes as IGNITE prepares for an extensive tour, kicking off in December with a series of shows at Garden Grove, California’s GARDEN AMP, and extending across Latin America. The tour will culminate with a performance in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

In 2019, the band found themselves at a crossroads when they were without a singer.
“There was never any question about whether we would continue,” says bassist Brett Rasmussen. “It was more a question of where do we go next. How does IOGNITE continue to grow as a band?”
With the recent addition of new vocalist Eli Santana, the band is not only expanding their sound but also redefining their identity.
Santana, known primarily as a guitarist for metal bands Holy Grail and Huntress, proved himself the clear-cut choice.
