CASTET calls it quits

1 min read

Legendary polish hardcore punk band CASTET has decided to call it quits.

Here’s the official statement from the band:

A perfect moment to end the history called CASTET came in.

Simply end, we didn’t argue or anything like that. Thanks to all who supported us, listened, organised concerts, drank with us, talked bull shit, CDs and serious matters, ate and hung out with us at the gigs. Thanks to all the bands that played with us, lend us the gear, etc. These were great years. Good end is not bad

Some of our unreleased songs shall appear as soon to be released projects. Perhaps at the end of the year we would give a farewell gig. Until then, we are canceling all scheduled concerts.
Most of us will be still around in the scene. Czka, Bolo and Warens play in MINORITY. Czaka in KOYAANITSQUATSI. Warens sings in GOOD LOOKIN’ OUT. Zmierzły will probably join a band soon. I am calling it quits. I am sure we’ll be seeing one another at gigs.

It’s not said that we won’t play a reunion and/or a benefit show some time soon/ Who knows, maybe a serious reunion and being back? But for now, CASTET IS DEAD.

We’ve just posted our cover of MOSKWA‘s “Piekło na Ziemi” (stream it above the statement), off the “Tribute To Moskwa” album, coming up soon!
