DJ Chris Lawhorn will be releasing “Fugazi Edits” on October 30th via Case/Martingale Records. The outing features instrumental music made around over one hundred samples from FUGAZIโs music.
Ian Mackaye has authorized the albumโs release. Profits from sales will be donated to a charity that works with senior citizens in Washington, D.C. and another one that provides aid globally to people impacted by disaster and civil unrest.

Here’s the official word:
At the end of October, Iโll be putting out an album of instrumental tracks created using samples from Fugaziโs catalog. The projectโs being released with the bandโs permission and will benefit a couple different charities.
With regard to the music, half of it is pretty straightforward.
The other half is more experimental.
