1 min read

As the result of last August’s lawsuitKYUSS LIVES! have announced that they have changed their name to VISTA CHINO, who are currently recording new material in anticipation of a 2013 worldwide release that will coincide with major touring plans.

VISTA CHINO consists of three out of four members of the pre-1992 version of KYUSS, John Garcia on vocals, Nick Oliveri on bass and Brant Bjork on drums. Bruno Fevery, who served as the guitarist of KYUSS LIVES!, is a member of the project as well, replacing Josh Homme, who co-started KYUSS in 1989 (when they were known as SONS OF KYUSS) and is currently in QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.

As for KYUSS LIVES!, their final live appearances will take place in early 2013 as part of Australia’sSoundwave Festival.
