HEXIS launch pre-orders for “XI”

July 21, 2014
1 min read

HEXIS, a Copenhagen, Denmark based post hardcore / doomy black meta band has teamed up with Dead Tank Records to launch pre-orders for a reissue of their 23012 album “XI”! Play it, grab your copy and support these monstrous and bestial creatures.

XI

“Into the darkness. Darkness amidst the ice. Darkness amidst the grey days. Darkness warping every note and sound. Cold isolation. Frozen warnings. Hexis makes hardcore drained of machismo and the warmth of human companionship. There is no celebration, no brotherhood, no cathartic violence,
Hexis makes black metal that pays no allegiance to deities or archetypes, black metal that is immersed in the foul grit of the human condition. All you are left with is your own pointless thoughts being battered blind by this overwhelming force of sound. Every note on “XI” is blown out and damaged beyond repair, sonics pushed into abusive levels. Strings breaking. Vocals emanating from your buried, atavistic lizard brain. Contempt and pity at the same time. From Copenhagen, did you even have to ask?”
– M. Moyer

Pressing Details: 100x white/grey vinyl with black haze + 400x black Vinyl. All LPs in 180gram, printed heavy innersleeve, heavy gatefold cover jacket.
