Good Fight Music will release this new outing in 6 days, but the band has just decided to reveal yet another new track for free. Head over here to launch the new track annouced via the following announcement.

OLD WOUNDS

Pitchfork is now streaming Old Wounds’ newest single, “Bloodpact,” off the Jersey boys’ new EP, Death Projection, out next week on Good Fight Music.

Pitchfork’s Zoe Camp writes: “Emotionally charged, stylistically diverse metalcore, refreshingly devoid of the sugary melodies and bone-dumb breakdowns that propagate so freely within the mainstream hardcore scene… Frontman Kevin Iavraoni is capable of the razored vocal acrobatics of vets like Converge’s Jacob Bannon, but he knows when to tone down his howls for a bit of La Dispute talk-singing. The instrumentation tends toward primal, primordial screamo… It’s a furious – and meticulous – piece of work…”

An early champion of Old Wounds, Pitchfork cheered the band back in 2013 with these words: “Lashing ahead at a furious hardcore clip… [Old Wounds] pairs the maudlin pages of high school diaries with a grown-ass band’s concision and power.”

Old Wounds begin a North American tour this week with Canada’s Exalt, presented by Invisible Oranges.

The ‘Wounds have also now unveiled a second fall tour, kicking off in October, which sees the band shoot down the East Coast with Floridian bloozer-bruisers Vices and includes a stop at Fest 13 in Gainesville.
