A SWARM OF THE SUN recording their new album

Stockholm’s A SWARM OF THE SUN are documenting the writing and recording process of their new album entitled “The Rifts”.

We’ll update this post whenever we have more news to share on the subject.

Here is a short clip of yesterday’s drum session – the first of many to come. As usual, the man behind the sticks is our awesome go-to-guy and friend, Karl Daniel Lidén.

For this album, most of the initial writing is done on piano. In short, we’ll begin translating the pieces into songs with all instruments in their glory, starting with our first drum jam session with Karl Daniel Lidén.
For now, here’s another taste of the writing process.

Here’s a little taste of yesterday’s writing session.
 Anders Carlström, our constant brother-in-arms, visited the studio and we tried out a new track, The Nurse. It is in no way finished, but rather in a very early stage. It might be changed completely. It might not.
