ADESTRIA have signed with Artery Recordings

San Diego, CA’s ADESTRIA have signed with Artery Recordings.

The official statement:

Adestria is the latest band to join the Artery Recordings roster, the joint venture between The Artery Foundation and Razor & Tie. The San Diego band is the tenth addition to the Artery Recordings family. Adestria recently finishing recording their first full-length record with producer Nick Sampson (In Fear and Faith). Their debut Artery Recordings record will be released in Spring of 2012. Fans can get a sneak peek of what to expect from the new album today by watching a studio update from Adestria below.

Adestria have already begun making a name for themselves in the metalcore world. Alternative Press Magazine selected Adestria as the #5 Unsigned Band prior to their signing with Artery Recordings. The young band (ages 18-21 years) have also already toured extensively, including stints with new label mates Vanna and Close To Home as well as with bands In Fear and Faith and A Loss For Words. Adestria is Matthew Alan Anderson (vocals), Christopher Ray Hardison (bass), Michael Jason Yanez (drums), Russell George Klein Jr. (guitar), Brian Kimble Stump (guitar) and Michael Anthony Colasardo (keys). The band is managed by Mike Milford and Ramin Niroomand of The Artery Foundation.

Artery Recordings is the label home to The Artery Foundation and an imprint of independent label Razor & Tie, whose roster now includes Chelsea Grin, Vanna, Attila, I Declare War, A Bullet For Pretty Boy, Close To Home, The Crimson Armada and Casino Madrid.  A management company since 2004, The Artery Foundation has a knack for finding diamonds in the rough and nurturing them into worldwide prominence.  Some of their recent artists flooding the Billboard charts have included Top 40 releases with The Devil Wears Prada and Attack Attack!, Top 100 releases with Alesana and Breath Carolina and additional artists such  as Asking Alexandria, Jonny Craig and Dance Gavin Dance.
