BLACK SABBATH cancel their reunion tour, will still play this year’s Download festival

1 min read

The original lineup of BLACK SABBATH have been forced to put their future plans on hold due to guitarist Tony Iommi’s battle with lymphoma.

The band will perform only one show of this summer’s previously scheduled European tour and that’s the U.K.’s Download festival, which takes place on June 10th.

Despite Iommi’s illness and the recent departure of drummer Bill Ward, BLACK SABBATH are still working on their new record, which will be their first with with Ozzy Osbourne on vocals since 1978’s “Never Say Die!”.
