New Music

Salad Days Records has unveiled the details of the new EP from Portuguese youth crew hardcore punk band BROKEN DISTANCE! It’s been almost 10 years since their last record was released. The band was in the process of recording their second EP back in 2009 before they decided to split up, leaving the recording session unfinished. Fast forward to the summer of 2016 when a DVD with the recording session was found and a spark was ignited. Keeping the drum tracks from the original session, everything else was recorded from scratch with the help of Nuno Gonçalves. Also new lyrics were written. So it’s 2017 and there’s a new BROKEN DISTANCE EP. Check it out and spread the word.

The band commented:

10 years after Hourglass. We started writing these songs in 2009. We even recorded the drums back then. We didn’t finish the recording for what was going to be our second EP. In 2016 we found a DVD with the recording session and we decided to keep the drums and redo everything else from scratch. This is what came out of it with the help of our friend Nuno Gonçalves. Kalle Garmark once again made this beautiful artwork. You can check the bandcamp link and order the record there. Thank you.
