Featuring members of SHIIVA, Sleeptalk & All Eyez, THE DOWNSIDES, a punky grunge rock band from Lancaster, California, formed in 2018 and have been steadily grinding opening shows for international punk powerhouses such as The Casualties, TSOL, Strung Out, Agent Orange, The Bombpops, Pulley, Guttermouth to name a few.

Blending influences from various genres primarily pop punk, punk rock, grunge, shoegaze and emo the band bleeds influence from all over to create a balanced cohesive sound for fans of: Basement, Soul Blind, The Menzingers & Webbed Wing.

The band’s newest music video for their single “Trapped Inbetween” features Lancaster, CA based rapper Joe Snapped. Taking the alternative rap hype that we’re seeing take storm in another direction the band made a track that ebbs and flows in the way that you’d want an album too. Could hear range from Rage Against The Machine to Nirvana to Against Me! Lancaster, California’s The Downsides is coming out swinging with this new single.

To get your creative juices flowing, the band shared this special playlist entitled “One Time For The Culture”, by local Antelope Valley Label Kantu Culture showcasing their other projects as well as their friends projects.
