The release of these two singles follows the unveiling of Code Orange’s “What Is Really Underneath?”. This remarkable offering, which combines remixes and a soundtrack, serves as a companion to their acclaimed 2020 album, “Underneath“. Released earlier this year in February, “What Is Really Underneath?” delves deeper into the immersive universe of “Underneath” and is accompanied by a captivating fourteen-minute animated short film.
“Underneath” itself garnered widespread acclaim, earning the band a Grammy nomination. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Code Orange managed to impress audiences with groundbreaking live-stream performances, shared stages with notable acts like Slipknot, $UICIDEBOY$, and KORN, made their Coachella debut, and more. In February, they provided a tantalizing preview with “What Is Really Underneath?”, and now the band has officially unleashed their latest creations in the form of two brand-new singles.
