1 min read

IDIOTEQ is proud to give you the newest single from Swedish emotional post hardcore band CELESTICA! The track is called “Comfort & Closure” and offers a quality glimpse into the band’s upcoming debut album, with a number of outside punk influences, melodic hooks and addictive rhythms. CELESTICA are planning on having the entire thing released before they head out on their European tour with YOUNG MOUNTAIN in August. These guys are getting better and better at the art of graceful, yet harsh melodies and this new single is a perfect example of their newest output.

Lyrics:

someday i’ll write you an anthem
about our loves and losses
about how you pull me back down to earth
but it’s not enough

someday i’ll write you an anthem
about the high coast and our lives’ lowes
oh how you set me free

let’s effervesce
along the coastline
celebrate what we hold
and let go of the past

i distintegrate
into a million fragments
i’m everywhere to remind you
that this is not the end
of these times

celebrate what we hold
and let go of the past

a life in the light is a lie
ask yourself
do you deserve this?

someday i’ll write you an anthem
about our comfort and closure
about the pain of perseverance
but it’s not enough
but at least we’re free.

a life in the light is a lie
ask yourself
do you deserve this?
someday i’ll write you an anthem
but it’s not enough
