Copenhagen alt hardcore band EYES releases ‘The City’, announces European tour with Death Goals

1 min read

The Copenhagen hardcore crew EYES is riding the high waves of success following their second album, ‘Congratulations.’ These guys just dropped a killer music video for their track ‘The City,’ filmed by the talented Rasmus G. Sejersen. This video isn’t just any clip; it’s a raw, energetic slice from their show at this year’s Roskilde Festival in Denmark, and it’s pure fire.

Victor Kaas, the frontman with more energy than a double espresso, shared some thoughts about their recent gigs. He reminisced about playing some seriously insane festivals – think Mystic Festival in Gdansk and Hellfest’s Warzone stage. But the real deal for them was the Roskilde Festival. It wasn’t the biggest or the craziest show they’ve played, but the vibes were off the charts.

And guess what? These guys are hitting the road again, and this time they’re teaming up with the UK’s hardcore mavens, Death Goals. February 2024 is when it all goes down, with eight tour stops across Europe. But before they embark on this epic tour, EYES is set to rock a couple of one-day festivals in Denmark – Toldermania in Aarhus and Indisciplinarian Fest in Copenhagen.

You can also catch their other videos for ‘Generation L’ and ‘Congratulations!’ for a double dose of their hardcore goodness.

EYES isn’t just another hardcore band.

Since their self-titled EP in 2028 and their debut album ‘Underperformer’ in 2020, they’ve been carving a name for themselves with their unique blend of hardcore, noise-rock, and a touch of groove.

They’re not afraid to call out society’s ills, from conspiracy theories to gentrification. These guys have become a staple in Denmark’s metal and hardcore scenes and have been turning heads internationally since ‘Congratulations’ hit the streets.

With appearances at top-tier festivals like Hellfest and Copenhell, and selling out iconic venues like Loppen in Copenhagen, EYES is a force that’s hard to ignore.
