In the heart of an incredibly warming track, which has a sonic depth and pleasant feel to its production, lies soothing vocals that evoke an important message:
โSomedayโ is meant to be a light in the dark that seeks to hold the listener in a warm embrace, hoping that everything will be better…someday. The song is about the belief that the way out of loneliness is right around the corner. In other words, these are pure feel good vibes, compared to Death Machineโs usual standards. The song moves in a tranquil, low-key universe where the lyrics are allowed to take center stage. The listener is invited to a chorus, which in the two first phrases emphasizes the theme of the song; our common quest for โthe good lifeโโฆ “Maybe you, feel it to, that cold sting, waiting for somethingโฆ”
The new album is out on November 15th via Celebration Records and will be celebrated with shows in the biggest cities of Denmark: Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense before the band goes to Germany in January for another 8 shows.
Their latest single โAlien’ has to date been played on more than 20 different radio stations in Germany and the band canโt wait to get back on the road.
