Death thrash grind metallers NOISEM announce tour dates with BLAME GOD and NIGHTFEAR

1 min read

Death thrash grind metallers NOISEM has revealed the details of their upcoming winter run, featuring BLAME GOD and NIGHTFEAR.

Formed in 2013 as teenagers, NOISEM quickly established themselves as the most promising young band in extreme metal and have already graced the cover of Decibel Magazine in addition to having toured with countless heavyweights such as Carcass, Obituary, Nails, The Black Dahlia Murder, Gorguts and many more during their short time as a band.
NOISEM bring an incredible energy to their mix of death metal, thrash, grindcore and hardcore and have released two full-lengths and an EP via A389 Recordings. Their upcoming album, Cease To Exist, is slated for a 2018 release.

Audible chaos — Long Island, New York’s BLAME GOD criss-crosses boundaries of grindcore, distorted soundscape, and complete evil. The band’s 2017 release, Strategically Confined, showcases all five members’ disregard for convention, merging the incompatible sounds of Dystopia, Human Remains, and Sheer Terror into something as awesome as is bastardly.
BLAME GOD will continue their repulsive warpath in 2018, opening the year in support of Baltimore’s NOISEM for an East Coast trek.

Crossover acts have been around for over three decades now. The melding of thrash and punk became famous from acts like D.R.I. and Agnostic Front. These bands amongst much more helped bridge a gap between two ravenous fan bases. Time has passed and this bridge turned into a full-blown movement. Bands like Pennsylvania’s NIGHTFEAR have taken this now veteran sound and given it their own spin. Their crossover thrash possesses not-so-subtle strokes of death metal. Their latest effort, Cryptasm, draws parallels between the rawness found in both hardcore punk and death metal. The gritty, buzzing guitar tones of OSDM make brief appearances but much of the effort exudes a thrashing, punk fury built many decades ago.
