San Diego noisy, emotive screamo / post hardcore band FLOWERS TAPED TO PEN are re-releasing their 2013 garage-recorded record “Nice To Meet You, I Hate You” in cooperation with Structures // Agony Records, Bad Break Records, Little L Records, Paperweight Records, Tyburn Woods Music & Art Collective, (We Built the World And) Miss The Stars, and Santapogue Media! Pre-orders go live on September 10th and the record marks the pinnacle of their short existence. The lo-fi noisy hardcore band started in 2013 and recently played their last show and this is their goodbye. They managed to establish quite a strong cult fanbase through these years and pull together a lot of you favorite influences including dreamy shoegaze, heartbroken emo, energetic post hardcore, furious screamo, depressive post rock and twinkling math rock. Listen to the full album below and grab your copy of the re-issue via one of the aforementioned labels. Bon appétit!

Well it’s been fun. We started this band as babies in highschool writing/recording songs in a garage and are ending it as “adults” playing and recording in a garage. It’s been an amazing 2 and a half years and it’s been amazing being in a band with best friends and siblings, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks to everyone who supported us over the years, all the DIY spaces and houses that let us play, and all the amazing bands we had the pleasure of playing/hanging out with over the years….We are dead
